Abby's 1st day of 2nd grade!
Oh the excitement this girl has had the past week to start school! She has been counting the days and very ready. She smiled from ear to ear at meet the teacher day last week. She has one of the same teachers from last year, the FABULOUS Mrs. Mehan, and her new second grade teacher, Mrs. Wright. She had a great first day.
Conversation in the car on the way home:
Abby: "There was a little girl with her head down. The boy in the green shirt threw the ball and she was sad. I held her hand."
Mommy: "Oh, sweet girl, that was so sweet to hold her hand. You are so precious. What was her name?"
Abby: "I don't know. I can see tomorrow."
Precious!!! Congrats to Abby on being a big second grader! :)
