Well, there is light again today. Don slept with Abby last night and she had 5 seizures. Two clusters of 2 (so no diastat) and then one. BUT so far, and it's 7:25 p.m., there have been no more today. No falling over in the middle of the day is GOOD.
We increased banzel 100 mg this morning and that is the last time we can increase it... we are at max dosage. We also increased the morning dose of topamax 25 mg to 50 mg. In addition, we have given her some extra clonapin during the day... just for a few days.
So we are praying and hoping and wishing and dreaming that we can get through the night with a good night!
We enjoyed an amazing meal prepared for us by a sweet friend... one of five given to us this week! I am so thankful. It is so nice to sit down to an amazing meal after simply warming it in the oven for 30 minutes... such a blessing.
Abby had some friends come and visit today and their mother was sweet company to me. It was so nice to visit and for Abby to have company. God is reaching out to us through you all and it does help us so much... thank you. Thank you for your comments, your prayers, your emails, your texts, your phone calls, your visits... your friendship. We love you... very much.
Dawn the words just can't come. I have had such a stressful last two weeks but when I read your blog today I was thankful for my stresses as they were nothing compared to yours. You are an amazing woman, you and Don are truly angels on earth. I know it's not easy and I know that it gets to you both, but your blessings await you as you fully know.
